WELCOME

My portfolio contains my work experience, school teams, personal projects, and resume.

About Me

Hi! My name is Omar Faruk and I am in my 3rd year of Mechanical Engineering at MUN. I have had the great fortune of working on some amazing projects while networking with many influential and creative engineers along the way. I take pride in the work I do and I am a firm believer in working hard, working together, and having fun. Explore the rest of my portfolio, and feel free to get in touch with any questions.

Bangladesh

I spent the majority of my life in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. From kindergarten to high school, I completed my education there at Bangladesh International School. I gave my IGCSE Cambridge Ordinary Level Exams in 2017 before moving to Bangladesh.

I was born in 2001 in the capital city of Bangladesh, Dhaka. I mostly visited my home country on school vacations to meet my extended family. However, I spent a 2-year period there from 2018 to 2019 and gave my Pearson Edexcel Advanced Level Exams, before coming to Canada.

MUN

In the fall of 2019, I began my first semester at Memorial University of Newfoundland. It has been over two years studying mechanical engineering at this University and I am truly grateful for all the experiences and memories I gained.
